Large exhibition halls, with their high ceilings and side openings, ensure the best possible indoor air quality. In addition, they are equipped with powerful ventilation systems.
The most common ventilation system in these halls is a natural air intake opening, which is forced to circulate to another opening where it is pushed out. This means that the entrance and exit of visitors are not close to each other and are always open.
The recommended ventilation rate for good air quality is approximately 5-6 total air volume changes per hour (ACH). A space with 3 ACH replaces 95% of the indoor air in one hour.
From a room distribution point of view, it is advisable not to have the room too narrowly subdivided and to use non-rigid materials, such as fabrics, with spaces for air to circulate through the room.
