When organizing a stand for a trade fair, in addition to the location and size of the stand, internal distribution is also important, especially for the cheapest stands and the first presence at trade fairs.
The organization of the fair and the companies that set up the stands, such as Servis, will be able to help you choose the best option on each occasion, but there are always some minimum spaces that it is considered essential to differentiate within the built area of your stand:
- Reception area or quick information. It is the first one to be seen by those who circulate in the corridors, it can be more humble, with a counter, or fully welcoming, with a low table, but always with stools or chairs, to invite visitors to stay. This is where the exhibitors with brochures and rollups are located.
- Commercial or demonstration area. It is the second zone where your visitors should circulate after the previous one. It should undoubtedly include a sofa or a meeting table. Open or closed? If it is open and visible, you can call more people to see how you devote your time and staff exclusively to each visit, but it can also make it difficult to communicate the ambient noise of the fair. If it is closed, it is best limited by a transparent or translucent surface that an opaque one.
- Warehouse, the area needed to store all the elements and materials that will help the successful trade mission at your trade fair stand.
The commercial or demonstration area can be replaced by a bar or chill-out area, if you prefer a more cordial treatment with your visitors and you already have experience in fairs before.
