What safety measures apply when setting up an exhibition stand?

The work involved in setting up a stand for a trade exhibition involves different levels of risk: there is transport work, lifting or unloading materials. There is also electrical work and other tasks that sometimes needs to be carried out at a certain height from the ground.

All work is carried out under the supervision of the exhibition organizers and those responsible for occupational health and safety at the exhibition site. Work such as cutting, welding or so-called hot work must be reported to the exhibition organizers by means of a special form. A special application is also required for hanging structures on the hall roofs.
