Which floor can I put on my exhibition stand?

Just as important as the construction material of your stand for the fair is the type of floor that is installed on it.

Since it’s all about making visitors feel at home, why not make their footprints even more comfortable when they arrive at your stand? Or why not highlight the stand design on the floor instead of on the walls?

The most commonly used materials for exhibition stand floors are:

• Carpet, a classic. It can be made of synthetic fibres, such as artificial grass, or natural fibres, such as sisal or coconut carpets. Its main disadvantage is its difficult cleaning.

• Vinyl flooring (PVC), ideal for its resistance and easy installation for areas of high traffic.

• Laminate flooring, made of wood fibres and resin.

Finally, do not forget about accessibility for people with reduced mobility, specially if there are platforms or higher areas. Normally, these spaces are used to hide all the cables for light, telephone or water installations, for example, if computers, screens or a bar are installed on the stand.
