Snowflake's two Ex stands were surrounded by companies whose combined revenue dwarfs the entire cloud data market. Zone 7A excluding Snowflake: €184.9 billion — over 50 times Snowflake's own revenue.

03 — The hall decision
Databricks and SAP — the two platforms most directly competing with Snowflake for the same enterprise data budgets — both chose Hall 3 with PEx format at MWC 2026. Snowflake chose Hall 7 with Ex stands. Same event, same target audience, opposite positioning decisions.
Neither is right or wrong. It is a strategic choice that deserves a deliberate answer for 2027.

Snowflake's two Ex stands placed them in a zone dominated by industrial giants and hardware companies. That is not a coincidence — MWC attendees who buy data infrastructure walk that aisle. The opportunity in 2027 is enormous.
Siemens, Corning, Skyworks and IDEMIA alongside Snowflake — companies building the physical layer that Snowflake's platform sits on top of.
Stands at 7A10 and 7A14 — one on each side of the aisle. A rare setup that creates an immersive corridor. In 2027, that corridor could become a physical demonstration of the AI Data Cloud.
Every telco, every manufacturer and every connected-device company in that hall needs what Snowflake builds. The stand is the first proof point.
Siemens, IDEMIA and Skyworks will be back. The industrial companies Snowflake wants as customers will walk the same aisle. The stand must make the case before anyone says hello.
