The creation of spaces for trade fairs or company events within an enclosed area must take into account more than ever the social distance in order to limit its spaces. This applies both to the calculation of common spaces for trade fairs and to spaces within stands or other smaller structures.
The criterion for calculating spaces is to ensure a “personal” space of between 1.5 m and 2.5/3 m2 per person according to the calculated capacity, both in open and closed spaces.
In the fairgrounds, the new dimensions of the common spaces such as catering and sanitary areas (health care area and toilets) must be taken into account.
When designing stands, configurations with unique spaces and providing separate entry and exit routes for people through different corridors is the most logical. In addition, stand surfaces must be easy to clean and also easy to assemble and dismantle.
