As a rule, a stand within a exhibition centre is not set up with a roof, as this is a temporary construction, and an opaque roof on the stand would make it difficult to illuminate and ventilate the space, for instance. The installation of electricity, telecommunications and air-conditioning is common to the entire site and is located in the large common vault. However, it is possible, in order to give a greater sense of hospitality, to install fabric or woodwork ceilings, always depending on the building regulations for each event, and following the basic rules for ventilation, smoke detection and the installation of fire extinguishers and emergency signs.
In general, a uniform white fabric ceiling or narrower, consecutive fabric strips can be pleasant for some types of stands.
The SERVIS design department can consult and advise you on all the options for installing your company’s stand outdoors or indoors, with or without a roof.
