Machinery trade shows in Spain 2027

In 2027, Spain’s machinery trade show calendar is split between industry, agriculture and packaging, with events in Zaragoza, Valladolid, Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona. It starts in January with Enomaq and Agraria and runs until SIL Barcelona in June.

FIMA, BIEMH, SMOPYC, Expoquimia, Equiplast and Alimentaria FoodTech take a break this year because they are not held every year. In this 2027 machinery trade show calendar you’ll find them sorted by month, with their dates, venue and figures from the latest edition. When a show hasn’t announced its dates yet, we tell you.

Main machinery trade shows in Spain in 2027

January

Enomaq

Dates: 26 to 28 January 2027
Location: Feria de Zaragoza
Description: Trade show for vineyard machinery and for producing beverages and liquid foods. It also covers tanks, laboratory equipment, ancillary industry and bottling. It runs on the same dates as Agraria in Valladolid; if you are going to both, plan your teams and stand builds well in advance.

Dates: 26 to 29 January 2027
Location: Feria de Valladolid
Description: Biennial agricultural machinery show, now in its 9th edition. It covers around 30,000 m² with machinery, irrigation, seeds, crop protection, livestock equipment and drones. The 2025 edition recorded 32,800 registrations.

Smagua

Dates: 16 to 18 February 2027
Location: Feria de Zaragoza
Description: International water and irrigation exhibition, with machinery, equipment and services. The previous edition marked its 50th anniversary. The organisers have already opened bookings for exhibitors.

Dates: 23 to 25 February 2027
Location: Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), Barakaldo
Description: Brings several shows together at the BEC: Subcontratación (23rd edition), ADDIT3D, BeDIGITAL, weAR (automation and robotics), Maintenance and Pumps&Valves. The 2025 edition welcomed 12,120 professionals from 47 countries.

FIGAN

Dates: 16 to 19 March 2027
Location: Feria de Zaragoza
Description: Animal production show, now in its 18th edition. In 2025 it brought together around 1,200 brands and exhibitors across 64,500 m², with some 60,000 visitors and more than 40 technical sessions. It covers machinery, genetics, equipment and facilities, animal health and slaughterhouses.

Advanced Factories

Dates: 31 March to 2 April 2027
Location: Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via
Description: Trade show for industrial automation, robotics and Industry 4.0, held alongside the Industry 4.0 Congress. The 2026 edition brought together 758 exhibitors and 34,657 professionals. This year it changes month, moving from May to the end of March.

Dates: 7 to 10 April 2027
Location: IFEMA Madrid, halls 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10
Description: Automotive aftermarket show, with workshop equipment, spare parts and tyres. In 2025 it brought together 710 companies and 65,514 professionals from 80 countries across 100,000 m².

Hispack

Dates: 4 to 7 May 2027
Location: Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via (halls 2 and 3)
Description: Packaging show in its 20th edition, with processing and packaging machinery, labelling, logistics and robotics. It is held at the same time as Graphispag, which takes hall 1. In 2024 it brought together 819 exhibitors from 28 countries and more than 26,000 visitors.

Dates: 25 to 27 May 2027
Location: Medina del Campo (Valladolid), on an 80-hectare site
Description: Live field demonstration of agricultural machinery, in its 7th edition and organised by ANSEMAT. The machines work on real plots. In 2025 it welcomed 35,132 trade visitors.

Description: Packaging and logistics show for the food industry. It is held alongside Expo FoodTech and the Food 4 Future World Summit, and hosts the Packaging & Logistics 4.0 congress.

Description: International Logistics Exhibition, in its 29th edition. The 2026 edition brought together more than 600 companies and 15,412 visitors from 87 countries.

Description: Trade show for fabrics, knitwear, garment making, home textiles, spinning and accessories. The 2026 edition runs from 21 to 23 October and its website has not yet published dates for 2027. We will update this entry once the official dates are announced.

Hannover Messe

Dates: 5 to 8 April 2027
Location: Messegelände Hannover, Hanover (Germany)
Description: Industrial technology show: automation, digitalisation and energy. The 2026 edition welcomed around 110,000 visitors, compared with 123,000 in 2025.

Location: Hanover Exhibition Grounds, Hanover (Germany)
Description: Machinery and technology for woodworking. In 2025 it brought together 1,433 exhibitors from 49 countries and around 78,000 visitors from 156 countries.

Location: Fieramilano (Rho), Milan (Italy)
Description: Trade show for production technology and metalworking. In 2027 it is held in Milan rather than Hanover, where it returns in 2029. The 2025 edition brought together more than 1,600 exhibitors from 45 countries and around 80,000 trade visitors.

Description: Agricultural machinery show. In 2025 it brought together 2,819 exhibitors from 49 countries and 477,054 visitors from 171 countries. Its website notes that the dates may change.

BIEMH (Bilbao): biennial. The next one is in 2028, with no dates published yet.
SMOPYC (Zaragoza): held every three years. The next edition is in 2029.
Expoquimia and Equiplast (Barcelona): the next edition is in May 2029.
Alimentaria FoodTech (Barcelona): the next edition runs from 8 to 10 October 2029.
FIMMA + Maderalia (Valencia): biennial. The latest edition runs from 10 to 13 November 2026.
bauma (Munich): the next edition runs from 3 to 9 April 2028.
K (Düsseldorf): the next edition runs from 18 to 25 October 2028.
interpack (Düsseldorf): the next edition runs from 10 to 15 June 2029.
EIMA (Bologna): held in even years. The 2026 edition runs from 10 to 14 November and the next one, in 2028, has no date yet.

Why exhibit at a machinery or industrial trade show?

A machinery trade show brings together, in just a few days, buyers, distributors and technical staff it would take you months to visit one by one. They see the machine working, ask the questions a catalogue can’t answer and leave with a clear idea of who can help them. For exhibitors, it is the chance to show the product, listen to the market and open sales conversations.

Before the show

Decide what you want to achieve: new contacts, demonstrations or launching something new. Let your customers know in good time and design the stand around the machinery: access, loads, utilities and an area where you can run demos comfortably. If you are going to two shows on the same dates, such as Enomaq and Agraria in January, book the stand build and your team with plenty of margin.

During the show

A well-organised stand lets your team focus on what matters: talking to visitors. Schedule demonstrations in time slots and agree from day one how you will collect contacts, so none get lost between conversations.

After the show

Write to your contacts within the first few days, with a message that reminds them what you talked about. Once things calm down, review what worked and what you would change for the next edition.
