Construction trade shows in Spain 2027

2027 brings changes to the construction calendar. Construmat returns to Barcelona after a year without an edition, Rebuild brings its dates forward in Madrid, and C&R, Genera and Matelec coincide again at IFEMA. There are also trade shows that are not held this year, and it is worth knowing before setting aside a budget.

In this 2027 construction trade show calendar we have gathered the events with dates confirmed by their organisers and those that already have a venue but have not yet published dates. If you manufacture materials, or work in industrialised construction, building envelopes or installations, here you have a basis for planning the year in good time.

Main construction trade shows in Spain in 2027

March

REBUILD

Dates: 16 to 18 March 2027
Location: IFEMA Madrid
Description: Rebuild turns ten with the motto “Integrating Building Systems”, focused on integrating the construction, technological and energy systems of buildings. It combines an exhibition area and the Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0 Congress. In 2026 it welcomed 32,487 trade visitors and 758 exhibiting firms. This year it moves forward one week compared with 2026.

CONSTRUMAT

Dates: 18 to 20 May 2027
Location: Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via venue (halls 6 and 7)
Description: The International Construction Show celebrates its 25th edition and returns to its biennial rhythm. In 2025 it brought together 22,300 visitors and 368 exhibiting companies, 35% of them international. For 2027, Fira de Barcelona expects two halls, 13,500 net m² and more than 400 exhibitors, with industrialised construction and the housing challenge at the centre of the programme.

Dates to be confirmed

Climatización y Refrigeración (C&R), Genera and Matelec

Dates: to be confirmed. IFEMA has confirmed the 2027 edition, but has not yet published the dates
Location: IFEMA Madrid
Description: C&R is the International Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Show, held every two years. In 2025 it welcomed 45,000 professionals from 88 countries and brought together more than 400 companies. In 2027 it will once again coincide with Genera (energy and environment) and Matelec (electrical solutions); according to IFEMA, in 2025 the three together had more than 102,000 trade visitors and close to 1,200 companies. If you work in installations or energy efficiency in buildings, it is worth following the announcement of dates.

International construction trade shows 2027

BAU

Dates: 11 to 15 January 2027
Location: Messe München, Munich (Germany)
Description: Biennial trade show for architecture, materials and systems for construction. In 2025 it had more than 180,000 visitors and 2,230 exhibitors from 58 countries. It is the first major event of the year for manufacturers of materials and systems who want to export.

MIPIM

Dates: 16 to 19 March 2027
Location: Palais des Festivals, Cannes (France)
Description: Annual event of the international real estate sector, with investors, developers and public administrations. It falls in the same week as Rebuild, so if you are interested in both, organise your teams carefully.

INTERMAT + World of Concrete Europe

Dates: 21 to 24 April 2027
Location: Paris Nord Villepinte, Paris (France)
Description: Triennial show of solutions and technologies for construction: machinery, public works, building and concrete. It is held alongside World of Concrete Europe and will have live demonstration areas.

Trade shows not held in 2027

Construtec and Veteco (International Construction Week): they are biennial and were held from 10 to 13 November 2026 at IFEMA Madrid, so there is no edition in 2027. You will find the information on our Veteco and Construtec pages.
SMOPYC: it is triennial. After the 2026 edition, the next one will be from 18 to 21 April 2029 at Feria de Zaragoza. More information about SMOPYC 2029.
Bauma: the Munich construction machinery trade show is triennial and was held in 2025, so there is no edition in 2027 either.
Cevisama: in 2026 it was held in September as 360 by Cevisama, within Feria Hábitat València. For 2027, Feria Valencia has not yet published dates or format. Some websites give dates in February, but they are not official. We will update it as soon as there is an announcement. Cevisama page.

Practical tip for exhibitors

In 2027 you have two major events two months apart: Rebuild in Madrid in March and Construmat in Barcelona in May. If you plan to go to both, consider a modular stand that you can adapt to each floor space. That way you reuse the structure and graphics, and the second build costs less. Book space early: Construmat is growing and moves to two halls.

How to choose your construction trade shows in 2027

Visitor profile: Rebuild targets specifiers, developers and manufacturers of industrialised construction; Construmat has a broader profile, from materials to machinery; C&R mainly attracts installers and engineering firms. Choose according to who decides on the purchase of your product.
Market you want to open: if you are looking for customers in Spain and the Mediterranean arc, the national trade shows are a good fit. If your target is central Europe or France, look at BAU or Intermat.
Calendar and budget: in 2027 the major national events are concentrated between March and May. Count back the design, production and logistics lead times from each date and decide whether one trade show, two or a combined format is worth it for you.

Participation checklist

Dates: confirm them on the trade show’s official website before committing a budget.
Goal: set a measurable one: contacts, meetings or orders.
Space: book it as soon as sales open and ask about early booking rates.
Regulations: check the venue’s: heights, loads and build-up and dismantling deadlines.
Stand: prepare the design in good time for production and logistics.
Agenda: organise meetings with customers before the trade show.
Follow-up: plan contact with your leads in the following two weeks.
Budget: if you want a first figure, calculate the price of your stand in less than a minute.
