Health trade shows in Spain 2027
In 2027 the health calendar in Spain combines trade shows, medical congresses with an exhibition area and something new: EXPOINMED, the first edition of a health technology trade show at IFEMA Madrid. It runs from February to June, with events in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, Logroño and Seville.

Main health trade shows in Spain in 2027
February
Nutraceuticals Europe
Dates: 17 and 18 February 2027
Location: IFEMA Madrid, hall 1
Description: Two-day trade show and congress on functional ingredients, novel foods and finished products. It reaches its 10th edition.
March
Infarma
Dates: 16 to 18 March 2027
Location: Barcelona (Fira de Barcelona, venue to be confirmed)
Description: Pharmacy trade show and congress, organised by the Pharmacists’ Associations of Madrid and Barcelona together with CloserStill Media. It alternates between the two cities and in 2027 it is Barcelona’s turn. The 2026 Madrid edition brought together, according to the organisers, more than 27,000 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors across more than 32,000 m².

Medicalforum
Dates: 19 to 20 April 2027
Location: Hotel Barceló Sants, Barcelona
Description: Health technology forum in Spain. The 2026 edition brought together more than 1,000 healthcare professionals and 45 companies. It is held in a hotel and not at an exhibition centre.

SER National Congress
Dates: 4 to 7 May 2027
Location: Palacio de Congresos de Málaga
Description: 53rd National Congress of the Spanish Society of Rheumatology. It includes an exhibition area for participating organisations. This year it changes city: it moves from Bilbao to Málaga.
SERMEF Congress
Dates: 12 to 14 May 2027
Location: Logroño (venue to be confirmed)
Description: 65th National Congress of the Spanish Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. The congress website does not yet give details of the venue or the commercial exhibition.
Vitafoods Europe
Dates: 18 to 20 May 2027
Location: Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via
Description: Trade show for nutraceutical ingredients and products. For 2027 the organisers expect more than 1,600 exhibitors and more than 30,000 attendees. These are forecasts, not results from a previous edition.

CPHI Spain
Dates: 1 and 2 June 2027
Location: Barcelona (Fira de Barcelona, venue to be confirmed)
Description: First edition of this pharmaceutical industry trade show, with an exhibition area. The organisers are aiming for more than 130 exhibitors and 4,100 gross m².
SEMICYUC Congress
Dates: 6 to 9 June 2027
Location: Barceló Sevilla Congress Centre, Seville
Description: National intensive care medicine congress, with a technical and commercial exhibition of companies and laboratories.
EHA2027 Congress
Dates: 10 to 13 June 2027
Location: Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via
Description: European haematology congress of the European Hematology Association. The organisers offer exhibition space for companies in the sector.
EXPOINMED
Dates: 15 to 17 June 2027
Location: IFEMA Madrid
Description: First edition of this health technology trade show, organised by IFEMA and Medicina Responsable. Its offer is divided into four areas: equipment and devices, technology and digital health, medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory innovation, and hospital services and engineering.
SEMG Congress
Dates: 17 to 19 June 2027
Location: Sevilla International Convention Center (SICC), Isla de la Cartuja, Seville
Description: 33rd National Congress of General and Family Medicine of the SEMG. The website has a contact for commercial exhibition and sponsorship. Its first day coincides with the last day of EXPOINMED, in Madrid; if you are going to both, plan your teams and stand builds in good time.

Description: Pharmaceutical industry forum. The 12th edition took place on 22 and 23 September 2026 and its website does not yet publish dates for 2027. We will update this entry once the official dates are announced.

Description: Trade show for orthopaedics and assistive products. The 2026 edition runs from 25 to 27 November and the IFEMA website does not yet indicate whether there will be an edition in 2027.

Description: National medical oncology congress. The 2026 edition is in Madrid, from 29 September to 2 October, and the congress websites do not yet show the 2027 edition.

Description: European oncology congress. The 2026 edition is in Madrid, at IFEMA, from 23 to 27 October. The ESMO 2027 page exists, but it does not yet show the city or dates.
International health trade shows 2027
WHX Dubai
Dates: 25 to 28 January 2027
Location: Dubai Exhibition Centre (Expo City) and Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai (United Arab Emirates)
Description: Health and medical technology trade show that replaces the former Arab Health. It runs on the same dates as Pharmapack Europe; if you are going to both, plan your teams and stand builds in good time.
Pharmapack Europe
Dates: 27 and 28 January 2027
Location: Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, hall 4, Paris (France)
Description: Trade show for pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery systems. The 2026 edition brought together more than 6,500 attendees and more than 430 exhibiting companies from more than 100 countries.
ECR 2027
Dates: 3 to 7 March 2027
Location: Vienna (Austria), venue to be confirmed
Description: European radiology congress. In 2026 it brought together 22,418 participants from 121 countries.
BIO-Europe Spring
Dates: 5 to 7 April 2027
Location: Eurexpo Lyon, Lyon (France)
Description: Biotechnology event focused on partnerships between companies, organised by Informa. Its first day coincides with HIMSS27.
HIMSS27
Dates: 5 to 8 April 2027 (the 5th is a pre-conference day with separate registration)
Location: McCormick Place, Chicago (United States)
Description: Congress and exhibition on digital health innovation. This year it changes venue: the 2026 edition was in Las Vegas.
BIO International Convention
Dates: 7 to 10 June 2027
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (United States), venue to be confirmed
Description: International biotechnology convention. It changes city: the 2026 edition was in San Diego.
FIP World Congress
Dates: 12 to 15 September 2027
Location: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)
Description: World congress of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, in its 85th edition. The 2026 edition was in Montreal.
Expopharm
Dates: 28 to 30 September 2027

Description: German pharmacy trade show, with an exhibition and a conference programme.
CPHI Frankfurt
Dates: 9 to 11 November 2027
Location: Messe Frankfurt, Frankfurt (Germany)
Description: Pharmaceutical industry trade show, formerly CPHI Worldwide. It changes venue: the 2026 edition is in Milan.
MEDICA
Dates: 15 to 18 November 2027
Location: Düsseldorf (Germany)
Description: International medical technology trade show. It is held at the same time as COMPAMED, the trade show for medical technology suppliers, and two weeks after the start of CPHI in Frankfurt.
ACR Convergence
Dates: to be confirmed
Location: Moscone Center, San Francisco (United States)
Description: Rheumatology congress of the American College of Rheumatology. The 2026 edition is in Orlando, from 6 to 11 November, and the 2027 edition will be held in San Francisco, although no days have been published yet.
Trade shows not held in 2027
Expodental (IFEMA Madrid): held every two years. The next edition runs from 22 to 24 March 2028.
WoCoVa (World Congress on Vascular Access): biennial. The next one, the 10th, runs from 5 to 7 April 2028 in Rotterdam (Netherlands).
EASL International Liver Congress: in 2027 it is held in London, from 16 to 19 June, and not in Spain.
Quick checklist for your participation
Exhibiting at a health trade show means taking care of the details from the start. This list helps you avoid leaving anything until the last minute.
Book in good time. It is usual to secure space 8 to 10 months before the trade show, especially at events with high demand.
Choose who designs and builds your stand. A single team that handles design, production, installation and dismantling saves you calls and coordination.
Take care of operations. Check transport, accreditations, venue utilities and each organiser’s build-up rules.
Think about sustainability. Asking about reusable materials and how build-up waste is managed is increasingly common among organisers and visitors.
Prepare how you will capture contacts. Decide what data you collect and who does it on the stand.
Plan the follow-up. Write to your contacts within the first few days, with a message that reminds them what you talked about.
